AccuBond Maximum Impact 3100 fps. ????

My experience is that they will get pretty flat and penitrate less at higher velocities I don't think you can get them to blow apart. At least in my 257 Weatherby at over 3500 fps. On one deer at about 30 yards in the shoulder the bullet didn't exit out the other shoulder but it stayed together...

    .257Wby range test

Yes it was. You got one of the best calibers and guns made in my opinion. You got some pretty good groups there but I would be surprised if it wouldn't shoot under half an inch with the right load.

    .257Wby range test

You're reloader 25 loads seem way to whimpy to me. With a 110 accubond I'd say start at 73 gr and work up to 74 or maybe more if your gun is anything like mine. A very accurate load in my gun is 70 gr 7828ssc with a 115 Btip aol 3.250. My brother just got a knew vanguard with a wood stock and we...

    win. 30-30 lever action

I agree with Jeff Olsen. To me the part of the reason for using the lever action in the first place is for oldtimes sake, and also for close range in the woods. Why feed a classic 30-30 with some newfangeled looking bullets when the flat noses are what has always worked so good. If you want to...
