I just noticed the recommended maximum impact velocity for the AccuBonds is 3100 fps. Has anyone had any performance problems in the field shooting some of the faster calibers like the 7mm STW at over 3300 fps. ??

Bob,

Nosler changed this a few months ago. This is an impact velocity.
I have tested the 200 gr AB out of my 338 RUM at 3220 fps, shooting into water jugs at 50 yds. The bullets held together just fine. Keep in mind that water is a very hard bullet test media.

That just happens to be an impact velocity of almost exactly 3100 fps. I'd hate to hit even small bone at a higher impact speed, bone is harder on bullets than water is.... 8)

I concur. Its easier to fill juggs with water than bones.

My experience is that they will get pretty flat and penitrate less at higher velocities I don't think you can get them to blow apart. At least in my 257 Weatherby at over 3500 fps. On one deer at about 30 yards in the shoulder the bullet didn't exit out the other shoulder but it stayed together. I shot an elk with the same combination this year with two of them and it looks like they both exited.
