    300 WSM Loads?

I'd try H4350 and work up to 2900-2950fps. 64-65grains(max) with a Fed 215 should be the ticket. IMR 4831 also works well with the 180's. 2980fps was possible in my rifle with a max book charge. Of course work up carefully. Let us know how it goes please.

Have any good loads for 300 WSM & 150 grain bullets?

    Jim, I have been working with the 150 ET/BT combo out of a .300WSM. Here's my rifles favorite loads(both fairly mild). Sako 85 (24 3/8" barrel) .300 WSM W/W Brass CCI 250's 150 ET 65.5 grains H4350 2.82" COL 3120 FPS 150 BT 65 grains H4350 2.85" COL 3100 FPS Using the above loads, both...

    E-Tip Range Results.

Howdy fella's. I went out this morning and shot a few 150 grain E-Tips out of my stock .300WSM. Starting with medium book loads I worked up to Nosler #6 max charges for 150 grain AB/PT's. These are the only three groups I shot(200 yards). RL19 69.5 grains 2960fps 2.25" N550 65.5 grains...

    Accubond vs. Partition Ogive

Thanks JD338, the CZ 452 is a great way to let the Sako cool down on these warm days. A 180 grain bullet at 2925fps isn't the fastest .300WSM in the world but I'm tickled nonetheless. PS. I don't think a Mulie will know the difference....grin

    Accubond vs. Partition Ogive

I might have missed it with the .300 but I nailed it with my little CZ .17 HMR..........grin At 60 yards BTW. I am using 65 grains of H4350 along with a Federal 215 GM. Velocity 2933fps 2922" 2922" I am getting a much lower ES with the Accubond than I did with the TSX.

    Accubond vs. Partition Ogive

JD338, it's a Sako 85 S/S in .300WSM. After having trouble getting consistent results with TSX's I loaded up some 180 Accubonds last night. .7" at 100 yards during this mornings test. I am a happy camper. Partition load work up is next. Sam

    Accubond vs. Partition Ogive

Thanks for the good answer JD338. I actually ended up doing pretty much what you described. I found that with identical COL's (the max my magazine will allow) I can get the Partition .070 closer to lands in my long throated rifle.

    Accubond vs. Partition Ogive

How much closer to the lands can one get using a Partition Spitzer vs. Accubond given both bullets(180 grain/.308) are seated to the same COL? Thanks for any info , Sam
