Wow! That's the first complaint I've heard about Powerbelts not expanding. Usually its complaints that they are too soft and blow up when they hit bone. Where did you shoot your mulie and how far away was it?

JD, Thanks - this was with a Federal factory load using the 410 gr Woodleigh Weldcore. I haven't got around to playing with the .416 yet, but plan too this spring with the 400 gr Partition. If I can get it and the new Nosler solids to shoot to the same point I think I have my load for Africa...

Nothing wrong with using "enough" gun. I took this buck in 2006 with my .416 Rigby. No tracking required. :)

Thanks for the info. I didn't see the new catalog. I like the "same point of impact" part. Will the next Nosler reloading manual contain load data for the new solids and also identify which loads match up with the PTs for same POI? Thanks
