    Whitetail bullet options

You have been given good advice. You have so many good options (many have not been mentioned yet), it will make your head spin. Typical distances you hunt at?

    Barrel twist

What Guy said. If you have a different range of bullets you want to use or try, get the twist rate for the longest/highest BC one you intend to use. The one that requires the fastest twist.

Getting the 7mm SAUM Ready for SA

The 7 SAUM has about the same capacity as the 7 PRCW. There is just better brass for the PRCW and the similar wildcats. As you know the 180 Hybrids pretty much reign supreme for the 1K game.

Getting the 7mm SAUM Ready for SA

I used H-4350 in the 7mm SAUM and the 160 grain LRX With my first 7 SAUM I used H-1000. H-4350 has been my go to powder for short barreled 6.5-284's since the late 90's

Getting the 7mm SAUM Ready for SA

Thanks Guys! I am very pleased. I also did some load development with my 6.5-284 rear-grip with the 142 LRAB’s. I need to redo two loads. The odd thing is is that the load between those two was not good, so I don’t know if it’s just the inconsistency of that bullet or maybe I messed something...

    Little range time 6.5 x 284 / 143 ELD-X

H-4831sc has been a classic fav of the 6.5-284 for decades. I use H-4350 in my 15-18 inch barrels though

And I don't even have the rifle yet!

You just need multiple barrel blanks, in multiple calibers, multiple stocks, and several actions on hand...Step it up guys 😇 :ROFLMAO: High quantities of on hand: Quality brass, bullets, powder, and primers are a given, but I listed it here anyway:cool: Then, the only wait time is on the...

    308 Load Data

308's are pretty easy to load for. I would start with Varget or H4895 and consult online loading are hard-copy reloading manuals for the appropriate bullet weight(s). I have three 308 Winchester rigs. Two of them are specialty pistols and one is a F-TR rifle. I use Varget with the 200.20X 200...
