Since Obama has been President it's been the best years for Guns & Ammo company's . I have not bought hardly anything since this started 5 yrs ago & am trying to shoot everything I have in Lead as I don't see a future for hunting with it. Sorry but there are more Dipshits than Good Old Boys. Since Common Senses is not so Common any more. I do think this is 5 to 10 years away. I work a pluming Co. That makes Brass products & the Feds made us take the Lead out of Brass even though there never has been any proof that it leaches out of brass. The Federal Government just shut down the last lead smelter in the USA because they could with EPA regulations. Sorry for the Bright Picture Good Hunting.

Called and spoke with Hornady and they said they are setting a record surpassing 1 Billion bullets mfg this year for the first time. That's crazy! I believe they said they have added new equipment and are running 24/7 and can't keep up with demand.

And I still can't find the bullets I want!

Yeah but I shoot all Nosler Bullets. Where does that leave me?

Nosler is still cranking out bullets, and I haven't had any real trouble getting them. Watch the sales at SPS, also they're often in stock at Graf's & Midway and the other on-line suppliers.

I stop by the Hornady plant 3 or 4 times a year when up in Grand Island NE for business. Back in March of last year I was talking to the plant manager and he said if they stopped taking orders on that day, they would still have enough orders to keep them running non stop until jan 2014.

I will be up there in two weeks, maybe I can see if they are making a dent in the backlog.

It might just be me but it seems as though SPS hasn't had quite as much in variety lately, when I first found the site over the summer it seemed that they had a lot of stock rotate through on a weekly basis, some of their currents have been there for a while with nothing new added.

That being said, I haven't had any problems finding Nosler bullets, but not shooting as much with the cold weather so I'm fine with waiting to find what I want at SPS
