10yr old nephew first buck! 260 Rem 129gr ABLR

So proud of my 10yr old nephew he got his first deer this evening. 90 yard one shot kill with a Remington Model Seven 260 Remington shooting 129gr Nosler ABLR @ 2325 fps.

thanks guys he was smile from ear to ear all night. The load was 33.0grs H4895

Bullet nicked the top of the heart and exited the chest, unrecovered. Buck hunched up hard at the hit and just about went down, wobbled for a few yards then piled up

I use a 260 as well as my grandson. He has killed many with his. It is an excellent caliber.
