my wife shot a buck at 150y friday morning with her 260 rem and 120 gr B/T
i was impressed by the penetration she got.
the bullet was found against the hide on the far side.

Very nice buck, congratulations to your wife you have some large bodied deer over in Quebec. Looks like the 120 gr Ballistic Tip was up to the task even on big deer.

actually we're just back from our annual pelgrimage to my brother's place in Manitoba.
but yes our deer here in Quebec are even larger.
my daughter, ny niece, and i shot each a 2.5 year old buck 2 weeks ago.
the girl's bucks field dressed at 181lbs and 183lbs and mine 175lbs.
but normally they go 160-170.

4.5 old deer normally field dress in the 200-220lbs
with a number of real mature deer in the 250-270 lbs taken every year

Manitoba has nice deer, I shot my only whitetail there when I visited my sister and brother in law. Those deer will fill your freezer nicely.
