I'm about to start my ladder test with the 129 grain ablr with H4350 and may give Winchester 6.5 powder a try in my sig cross rifle. I have seen the old threads on this bullet but nothing new. wondering if anyone has pointers on whats worked with them. I will be updating my load data once i have found my load so stay tuned. i will be testing another load as well possibly just for shits and gigs while I'm testing it but priority is the ABLR. I will first do a powder/ velocity .2 grain increments test for a velocity node then do a seating depth test for a node probable going in .004'' increment's 3 shots then 5 and so on to verify my findings so should be very informal and love to share findings and hear others if anyone has any !

Equipment
18" sig cross 1:8 twist
Vortex 5x25 FFP gen2 viper
Lapua srp with cci 200
H4350 and Winchester 6.5
bullets 129 grain ABLR and 143 grain ELX
will be using forester comp die and redding FL srp sizing die.
Hornady press
autotrickler v4 combo FX-120i scale

Thanks!

I start them at .050 off the lands and work back in .025 increments to find where they wanna shoot. For me, near the lands and a thou here and there were waste of bullets. Once I backed them off, I may require a couple thou to really tune, but usually it has not been necessary. They're an excellent killing bullet. Good luck and let us know where you end up.
