140 Accubond in 7mm BR

Would the 140 AccuBond be a good bullet for shooting out to 300yards, in a 7mm br with a 9 1/4 twist. Thanks for any help i am very new to reloading.

You won't get a lot of velocity so your drop could be a problem. I have a 20" barrel and it shoots 120 gr Nosler BTs at just over 2600fps. Never had a problem with them taking deer very cleanly. Shots have ranged from 15 feet to a lasered 264yds.Rick.

I'm with Rick, go with the 120 gr BT. This is a tough bullet and will work perfectly in your 7mmBR.
