Was plinking with a few different guns getting ready for wis deer season today.
Had 5 test rounds of 150 etip's loaded over 59.0 I4831. Out of my 23" tikka they came out about what I had thought they would do and didn't seem to have any extra pressure over other 150's. Speed was 2840 and 4 out of 5 were in an inch and I knew I had pulled the other shot slightly.

Not too shabby! I had great luck with H4350 with my rifle.

This was just a "thermometer" to see if they'd make significantly more pressure than other 150's and I think I can say no and move up the ladder with a stiffer charge or faster powder next time. I think all things considered QC was only off about 30 fps using the AccuBond as a "source" bullet.

Nothing special about my idea. I'm sure many reloaders do the same thing. I had read from another poster that this particular bullet pretty much performed the same velocity wise and (hopefully) pressure wise as other 150's so I loaded a medium load and it produced "medium" results.
I wish I had access to a 400-500 yd range so I could see if the bc (and accuracy) holds up.
I would not be the least bit afraid to chase this bullet after anything up to and including elk. NOW----lets see some 2nds at the proshop!
