I'm still trying..Loaded up a couple loads with RL-22 and H4831sc. I am using a 150g SGK currently with either RL-22 or H4831sc at 57.5g. That goes for both powders. IT gives 2950fps for h4831, and 3000fps for RL-22. The load shoots .5-.7" at 100 yards. I wanted to try an SST because of the high BC and it has a plastic tip, and wasn't based on a thick jacket like a btip or AB. My 270 does not shoot either of those bullets either, only rifle I ever own that would not shoot a btip. Anyways, I thought I would stick around 57.5g since it seemed to be a good spot for the 150g and the powders I was using. I started at 56.6g, 56.9g, 57.2g, then 57.5g. I shot them this last sunday at 100 yards and the best group was 2 inches going to 6 inches. They were running 2930-3000fps, but were showing a little hotter signs then with the sierra bullet. I'm going to try backing them down and see what happens, I was also using a cci 250 mag primer, I might switch to a 200 and see what that does. I really would like to find a load with these 150g sst's. I think it would be a great LR bullet and the tips wont get smashed in the magazine
