160 grain Partitions in a 6.8 Western

That's my favorite 270 cal bullet and it's on my list to work up a load in my 6.8 Western this year. Going to use Hodgdon's data for the 165 gr ABLR and work up slowly. Going to try Magpro first, what powders are you looking at?

Hey Gerry sorry for not responding. I didn't get a notification about your response or I missed it. I have run the 165 ABLR very nicely in both my 6.8 westerns. MagPro used to be my go to for my 270WSM but I read some nice things about Ramshot Grand and have put together some nice loads with it. Really good powder.

Let us know how it works out for you and I'll do the same. Definitely my favorite black bear bullet and bigger stuff in the 270 Win or 6.8 Western.
