2 & 1 out?

Thanks Team! The whole day was fantastic with wife.
The day was focused on breaking in her new 7mm-08. The 338 Win Mag just put the icing on the cake.

I will write a report and the wife's super happy experience tomorrow with a few pics.
Hope you get your 225 ABs shooting great JMAD_81.

Be safe all

You might also try 210 primers instead of 215's or any standard primer instead of magnums. The .338 isn't really large enough in powder capacity to require a magnum primer.

Aside from that I'd say stock work/bedding is in order.

After seeing How Scottys 338 WM, and 338winmags 338 WM are shooting I'm begining to think its is more of a bedding issue. I hate to admit it because I bedded it, but it was one of the first that I ever did by myself so it is a very real possability. Looking at some of my targets, it looks like it really is trying to shoot with a few loads, but something is getting in the way every now and then.

Yeah, take a look at your bedding Jake, I would almost bed something is wonky and bedding is pretty easily corrected as well. This 338 has been ultra consistent since I put it in the B&C Medalist. Probably some of the best money spent on a rifle.

I always had two close ones and then a silly 1 1/4" if not a little larger flier.
I know I spent a lot of money and tears, and then one day the heavens opend up.

Scotty is a rocket scientist so you could be on the right track.
The very cool thing about all the suggestions is you get to incorporate them into your practice and that means "you keep getting better".

Good reasoning too on your part.
Keep us posted Jmad_81!! I am at the seat of my chair wanting to know what you find out.

I just listen to those who have gone before me. No need in reinventing the wheel!

I learn more from you all than I could ever return...
