somebody loaded them in 30 cal magnums?
what can i expect for accuracy?
i heard that flat base bullets tend to group better and can get more speed
than boat tails is it true?

the bc is not as good as the AccuBond but they may hold better if a shot at a quatering to moose at 25 yard is all i get (i like to shoot when i can instead of taking the chance to wait for him to turn and hope i get a broadside shot) but still get plenty of energy to shoot one at 500. (my self imposed max.)

I have used the 180 Partitions for almost 50 years and found them to be supreme hunting bullets. I see no reason why the 200's would not be the same. As i have couple hundred 180's I have not moved up to the 200's, I think they would be better in the RUM. They are not always as accurate as some other bullets (depends on the rifle) but they are plenty accurate for large game like moose and elk. I have seen a lot of game taken with the Partition and my feeling there is not better bullet for big game. If I didn't think they were the best I would have quit using them long ago!!!!

The 200 gr PT is an excellent bullet, both accuracy and on game performance. A buddy of mine used the 200 gr PT in a M700 AWR 300 RUM to kill moose, elk and his accuracy was sub MOA.

In the 300 rum work up to 94 gr retumbo or 92 gr rl25. Both should produce 3100 fps at least and it is a killing machine,

I think you will get great speed and accuracy out of the 200gr Partitions. I think I will step up to a PT once I get back to hunting more with my 300 mag. They have a very good BC and I would use that 200gr PT for big bears if I had to. I don't know if the speed difference between the PT and AccuBond will be too awfully much. I have gotten really accurate loads out of PT's pretty easily. Seems some folks have trouble with them, but so far, they have all been MOA or better without too much trouble. Scotty
