2012 STONE SHEEP

Just a few pictures out of over 300. Incredible country, great weather except for a couple of days. This was an experience I won't soon forget and that I can not put into words. We did not see a grizzly or any wolf. Goats, moose, mountain caribou,stone sheep, ptarmigan,spruce grouse,bison and the list goes on.It froze nearly every night yet quite a few days temps had to be way up in the 70's F. It was just us the mountains and the sheep. Drank from the same creek for over two weeks and no one got sick. You can't do that around here. This was the 5th legal ram he had in the cross hairs in 16 days. A 200 yard shot from his Tikka 300 wsm and the 165 grain Barnes TSX put this fine ram on the rocks. I consider myself fortunate just to be part of the whole experience.
