Is this bullet a flat base or boat tail? Do they normally exit a coyote out of a 22-250 and are they destructive?

They're boatail. My Kimber loves the Nosler 55 grain BT. I haven't shot coyote with it yet.

Yote,

The 55 gr BT is a solid base boat tail design. If you stay away from big bones, exits are the size of a nickel.

If not......

They have a little Boat tail on them.

They are better then 40's or 50's on coyotes. Typically exit with smaller holes and less runners due to splash wounds or lack of penetration.

Was all I used out of my swift at 3925fps. Absolutely flattens coyotes, I was getting 1-2" holes on average, depending on shot placement. Either way they exited 90% of the time and put the dog DRT.

Yote,

+1 on the above... stay away from large bone and all is good. That bullet gets ahold of something of substance however and look out

nice jd i love that second picture. looked close to a dog hit with a 300WM and a 150BT at 50yards. i wish id have carried a camera when i used to hunt em with 75gr. V-MAX's out of the 2506 but then they where in pieces and parts. that bullet is a little bomb at 3700
