Hi Folks, I am looking to get as much info as I can on reloading this caliber.
The barrel will be a 20” length (1:14” Twist rate) and I intend to use 50, 53 and 55 grs. Bullets (Nosler 50 and 55 BT. - Norma 50 FMJ - Sierra 52 MK).

Any info will be appreciated (and links too).

Also, if some of You has the possibility, I would very much like to get the Sierra *.pdf sheet for this caliber.

Thank you for your help.

Cheers

My 222 loves TAC. I use 40 grain bullet and 25 grains of TAC. 3 shot pattern is .28
I would get it a try it's pretty deadly on the prairie rats.

I have also used reloader 7 but was not quite as accurate as TAC. I have only used 40 grain bullets so no experience with the heavier ones. Thats what the 22-250 and 243 are for.

Hi
I load for my fathers 222rem.
It loves 21.5gns of ar2206h and 40gns Ballistic tips
Not the fastest load but a accurate one in his rifle.

I have had excellent results using 23.5 grains of X-Terminator with both 50-grain V-Max and 50-grain Ballistic Tips. Velocities run about 3250 fps out of my 788 with a 24-inch barrel.

I have a 40X-BR in my safe that hasn't been shot for years - I'm sure there is a better combo's out there now, but
52gr SMK's over 748 got the job done. It's truely a tack driver
