I just bought a box of these and am wanting to load for my .22-250 with a 22" barrel. I tried to find load info but all places I have tried have the older manuals. Any help will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

Are you refering to the BT Lead Free biullets? The E-Tip is a monolithic bullet and is not currently offered in 22 cal.

Me too. From my Rem 700 22-250. They yielded about 4200 fps (if memory serves) and about .8" groups.

Man, have there been any problems with them holding together in flight at those speeds? Those are smoking! Scotty

Scotty,

The BTLF bullet held up just fine. Accuracy was fine in my M700 VLS 22-250 but not exceptional. My rifle prefers bullets seated out closer to the lands and I am confident I could make the little 35 gr BTLF sing.

The big male coyote I shot was hit broadside through the slats at 50-60 yds and I was surprised that the bullet exited.

Called Nosler and tech told me to expect 4450 fps with about any powder suitable for the 40 ballistic tips. Worked a few loads for my tikka. I will chrony them and report accuracy.

Wow, that is some awesome speed. Might be worth getting some just to try out! Scotty
