Well, the search produced so many results, the computer wont display them. Go figure.
I need a good starting point for a 110 grain AccuBond.
Any thoughts?

Dewey,

The Nosler 6th lists the following maximum charges for the 110 grain AccuBond:

H4831sc (51.0 grains)
IMR4831 (51.0 grains)
IMR4350 (49.5 grains)
RL19 (52.0 grains)

I have worked with Reloder 17 (no bueno), Reloder 22 (good velocity but not so good accuracy), and Reloder 19 (jack pot for my rifle). 54.5 grs gives me just a tad shy of 3200 fps and groups sub 1/2". Remington Case and Federal large rifle primer.

i use 51gr imr4350 for 3110fps and sub moa from a M70 24"

3 kills (one elk, one hog, one deer) all bang flop.

dewey,

Keep us posted with your range results.

FWIW..I worked up to 58 grains re22 in win brass in my 22" remington. This load with wlm mag primers shoots 3200 fps in 70 degree weather and right around 3110 in 30 degree weather. This load shoots 1.5"/200yd groups even on somewhat windy days.
Quickload thinks 3200 fps would be about 64k pressure and this is roomier win brass. No signs of pressure and primer pockets are staying tight. Work up as you would but this is definately my go to load.

I've used Retumbo with the AB and gotten well over 3200 fps out of my .25-06. I've gone another direction with the rifle these days though, and am now working with the 75-grain V-Max.

Ok
Here goes.
Tried lots of variations and originally shot for group size. I live in the country and the "range" is literally right out the door so I tried 4 to 5 work ups in each of 4 powders. Kept case and primer identical along with OAL to lower variables a little.
FWIW, chronograph is busted (operator error  )
Gun didn't really dislike any particular but two stood out. Tried Imr versions of 4350, 4831, then rl 19 and 22. 22 and 4831 stood out.
Wont bore with too many details but finally went to 4831.
Win new case, win lr primer, 50.5 4831 w 110 AccuBond.
I fouled up the pics so will redo when the wind dies down but three shot at 100 can be covered by the end of my thumb.
Many. Many thanks all.
Exactly what I wanted.
When the new chrony gets here I'll give you a speed.

It sounds as if you are on your way. We'll be looking forward to the pictures.

Looking forward to the pictures buddy! Sounds like a great load. Scotty

I don't have it anymore but i had a Rem Classic 25.06 that loved the RL22 with the 110gr AccuBond. Other powders shot well but not nearly as good as the 22 in that particular rifle.
