25-308 load

6mm06, mine is a 2508improved so I think you may have stay a little below my max of 39.5 gr, of IMR 4320 , or 46.5 gr. of IMR 4350 with both 85 gr and 100 gr BT's. Both of these loads have shot so well that I've never bothered to see how high I could push it. Have fun and tell us about your gun.

The 25-308 is not mine yet. It is a mauser action, timney trigger, savage stainless fluted barrel w/ muzzle break, leupold rings and bases and burris scope. The stock is a weatherby 2nd I think.

I have shot about 100 rounds rounds through it. Shoots better with 100's than 117's. I haven't decided if I want to buy it yet. I have already got two rifles from this guy and they are both great shooters. Haven't decided if I want the 25-308 yet

The first was a 6mm/06 built on rem 721 action w/ a timney trigger, Montana #4 28" barrel (1:9 twist), boyd laminated stock, leupold rings and bases and a burris fullfield II 4-14x42. Best shooter I have ever shot. Same zero from 65 gr to 105 gr.

The second rifle was 6.5 x 55. It is built on mauser 98 action/ a timney trigger, douglass 24" barrel), hand made stock with weaver bases and a tasco scope. Good hunting gun. Very accurate with 87 gr speer. 140 gr A-max shoot 1". I am looking foward to trying some 120 gr Nosler Ballistic Tips in this one.

I can get the 25-308 for about $550-$600 with dies and 150 rounds of brass and some bullets.
