I'm sure everyone got the email about Mr Nosler's passing and the 25% discount offered on the partitions. I was going to buy some but noticed that the .338 210gr was only 25 count and everything else was 50 ct. Has the .338 210gr Partition always been just 25 per box and I just never noticed it?

Scott,

Several bullets are offered in both 25 count and 50 count boxes.

Which makes a lot of sense these days. With prices being what they are these days I hate spending $65.00 to find out my gun hates a particular bullet. Should have happened years ago by all companies.

Thanks fellas. Seems like the 25 ct x 2 costs the same as the regular priced 50 ct so there really isn't a discount on those.

Same here, I just got a box of 250gr PT's from Bill (Elkman) and they were 25ct boxes. It seems like it makes sense to break them into 25ct boxes for load work up, but it sure doesn't leave much left after a short work up. The good thing is you still get a 50ct when you buy 2nds, so that is still on track.

Scott, Are you getting your break in loads ready for the 338-06! I imagine you must be like a kid at Christmas! Scotty

I've got left over bullets from my .338 to use (225gr SST's) for the break-in. I just can't wait to actually get my rifle! Hopefully it will be within the next couple of weeks. My dies are arriving from MidwayUSA today (I bought the Redding dies) and I bought a pound of RL15 on Saturday. Now just need to get that scope bought.

Man, I can't wait to hear how it shoots. Hard no to really like the .338's. That 210gr PT could be your do it all bullet. Never used it for anything, but the way all the folks on here preach about and about everywhere else, it has to be a good one. Heck, it is the RMEF choice for the 338! That has to say something about it! Scotty
