250 Gr Pt in a 358 Win

What is the consensus on the 250 grain Partition at 358 Win speeds? I have a couple of hundred. I ran out of the 225s. I would be loading fir a Browning BLR.
Varget, Tac, and BLC-2 for powders. Might get 2300 fps. Will be used for Roosevelt Elk at 150 yds or less.
I've given up waiting to see if Nosler will ever produce more .358 Partitions, as I doubt they will.

The 250 gr PT should be fine in the 358 Win for those big elk. I think you will get lots of penetration.

I would have no difficulty in using the 250 grain PT in my 358 Win. It will be accurate and give you excellent penetration.

You will get plenty of expansion. Shoot one into the jugs and you will see for yourself. I guessing you will find the bullet in jug 6 or 7.

Don't know about Nosler's production schedule but Sierra said they run their 35 cal bullets every 3 years. Stock up when they show up. Dan.

You'd think they'd make a bullet they know is gonna sell. Like I told you, I know where there is some, I just gotta get there.

I messed with my 358 and 250’s. Did about 2300 or maybe a bit better with 250 Speers. For under 200 yard killing I’d say you’ve got zero to worry about.
