257-300Wby still shooting tight

Someone ask me if my 257-300Wby was still grouping tight groups after I reported that I had fired 128 rounds. So today I tested it again with 86grs Retumbo and here are the results.

That will work. Have you had a chance to shoot any long range yet?

Not yet, it has all been development up to this point but I am now ready to practice at my hunting ranges so I will see what it really will do the next few months.

Yea, when I get her up to 3900 and 4000fps and she can go there she spreads from 1 1/2" to 2" groups and for my hunting purposes I want under an inch.
