I am in the process of loading for my new .257 Roberts. What experiences have you guys had with the various Nosler bullets in this chambering?
Thanks.

Scott,

I shoot a M700 Classic in 257 Roberts. I am loading the 100 gr BT with 45.0 grs od IMR4350 in a R-P case and Federal GM210M primer. It consistantly shoots .5" MOA @ 100 yds.
This load is above the Max load listed in the Nosler #5 guide but has no pressure sighs in MY rifle.
Use caution when working up loads.
The 100 gr BT will kill those Texas WT Deer like lighting.

Regards,

I use 100gr ballistic tips with IMR-4064 in my Ruger UL 257 and it has taken a number of whitetails without a problem. I used this rifle as a loaner when I helped in our Women in the Outdoors and Take One Make One programs through our state DNR. A low recoil, light weight lightning bolt.Rick.
