.257 WBY to 6.5-.300 WBY?

Can a .257 Weatherby action be rebarreled to the new 6.5-.300 Weatherby, or is the action too small? Thanks for the help in advance.

Depends on the rifle...look at the back of the magazine. If you have a spacer- you can use the longer cartridge most likely. If it's a MkV action- almost certainly.

If it is a markv, yes. You will also have to mill the bolt stop groove for more travel because of the longer case on the 6.5-300.

I can tell you any 300 bee vanguard or other can for sure. But if your 257 bee has a spacer or if you measure your ejection port it should tell you.
