For those who have been looking for info for the 257 Roy and Retumbo, here is what i got.
Weatherby brass
120 gr bullet
CCI 250 primers
Started at 68.0 and worked up to 72.5. I had no pressure signs at all but according to the quickload data that i had 72.5 might be running a little hot... not a big deal though...i got best groups at 71.0 - 71.5 (1/2"-3/4" @ 100 meters). The groups from 72.0 and up went to 2"... i didn't get to chrony the loads but according quickload they should be going about 3300.
I only had a couple of days to work this up and still need to play with it some more but i was impressed.
Killed a deer at 200 and watched him fall in my scope before the recoil pulled the sight picture off the animal...fell like he was struck by lightning
Hope this gives you all some where to start.
