My 260 rem load developement is coming along really well. I have two loads worked up that are consistant performers. The Hornady 123gr Amax and 142 Sierra MK. The Amax load is probably the most consistent but a touch on the slow side for a 123gr bullet at right at 2800fps, the 142 is going almost as fast as the 123 amax.

I’m really liking this 260. Even with the ring marks in the brass its shooting so well I’m not going to mess with it. I have been using nosler brass in this one and it has proven to be very consistant.

Here is my 260

Excellent results. You have every reason to be pleased with your work on those loads. Since you're shooting for accuracy, I wouldn't be overly concerned about velocity at this point.

I agree speed isn't as important but it sure is nice. There are a few other 6.5 bullets I want to try. The 129gr nosler LRAB, the 123 scenar, and 140gr berger vld.

Nice rifle!, it just looks like a shooter and from the looks of those groups it appears to be one. (y)

Very nice. I have a box of those 123 Amax's for the 6.5 Swede to try out as well. Figure they will make a great practice bullet and should give me an idea of where to start with the 125 PT.

Something about those little 6.5's is just cool...

Nice!

I'm getting 1/2"groups at 100 yards with the Federal 140 gr SGK load, and I'm still in the break in process on my Sako 85 Varmint Laminated Stainless rifle. I'm looking forward to developing a load that will shoot groups at 200 yards that will match yours!

I have Nosler, Lapua and Norma brass to work with, as well as a large assortment of 123 to 142 gr bullets to try. (I stocked up on components while waiting for the rifle after ordering it). I'm hoping to settle on a load that will utilize the heavier bullets, and am happy that the rifle is showing promise with the 140's already.

How much H4350 are you using behind the 142 gr SMK? And what primer?

Fed 210m with nosler brass I was running 44.5gr of h4350, when I switched to LAPUA brass I found best accuracy at 43.0gr and 2675fps
