I hear amazing results with Big Game powder and the 7-08, how would it do with the 260 Rem and the 120 BT, 125 PT, 130 AccuBond and the 140 BT? thanks in advance.

I have tried it with bullets under 130 gr a long time ago. Should be a good option with light or medium weight bullets. To be honest it's hard to beat powders in the burn rate from the 4350's up to IMR 7828 ssc or equivalent powders from other manufacturers. That said I'll give Big Game a go just because we have some.

If you are still interested in QL, I could run some, however I don't know anything about the round or the powder

If Big Game is what you have, it will work. Perhaps other powders would work better, perhaps not. One has to try in order to sort through the possibilities. I thought that perhaps someone who had actually used it would have some input. Nevertheless, here are some QL projections that give you an idea of how it will work.

Seems like a bit fast for it, but like Mike says, it still makes pretty useful speeds.

Thanks all for the Imput and the Quicload, looks like R16 or the R17 I currently have is the ticket, it has worked awesome with the 125 pt in 120 BT in a couple 260s, I guess the new one will get the same (y)

Tried Big Game 43grs with a Sierra 120 gr Pro Hunter, Fed 210GM primer in a Hornady case. shooting a Savage 11 Trophy best group was 1 in. Rl15 is showing promise. H4350 and this bullet has not done well about 2 ins at best.

Plan on trying RL19, IMR4831 IMR 4451 just some that's on hand. Dan.
