Jun 6, 2016 #5 H hunting1 Beginner Feb 18, 2006 166 1 It will be easier to use 7-08 brass. The .243 has a longer neck and I make it work, but first firing is a tight bolt close. It would be nice if there were more out there, looks like the 6.5 CM has taken off a little better.
