I found a winchester 70 all weather stainless synthetic in 264 win for a really good price. I was wondering if a 26 nosler reamer would clean up a 264 chamber without too much setback.

That 26 nosler looks to be an interesting cartridge!

How many inches of barrel do you have on the Winchester?. Less than 26" the huff & puff of the 26Nosler won´t really matter ballisticwise.

26, but I think it is a 1-9 twist barrel so some of the high bc bullets might not shoot in it

Yes your Winchester can be reamed up. There might have to be a minor gunsmith surgery with the magazine feedingramp as the 26Nosler has slight bigger body and sharper shoulders.

The 1:9 twist will be fine for bullets up to 140 gr.

Since when does "need" have anything to do with it?[emoji12]

I could easily get by with just my 300 rum and pitch the rest of my rifles, but the 26 nosler looks interesting

There is a simplistic joy in point on hair and pull the trigger out to 400-500 yards!! And today's bullets can handle the speeds up close too

A 26" barrel on a 264 Win Mag is going to do the job just as well as with a 26 Nosler while burning less powder. There isn't a pronghorn or deer on the planet that will know the difference. Brass is cheaper with the Win, too.
