270 elk bullets

i was wondering what would be some good 140 grain and 150 grain bullets
for elk hunting and witch ones would be the best out of a 22 inch barrel,
would 140 accubonds be a good choice

Absolutely. 140 AB or 150 PT will do just fine. Loading data for each is everywhere!

I would go for a 150PT. They shoot well in my 270 with RL22 and H4831sc. Good luck.

The 270 Win is on the light side for elk. You want as much bullet as you can get because elk are tough with big bones and a thick hide.
I would go with the 150 gr PT as my first choice, 140 gr PT second choice and the 140 gr AB third choice.

Agree 150 PT would be my first choice. I used it successfully to harvest both moose and elk from my 270 win. 140 CT Failsafe also worked well in one of my 270's for a couple moose.
