What loads are you using with 130/150 Partitions and 140 Accubonds. Please list velocity and accuracy. Thanx fellas

Pop, I tried tons of loads out of my savage stainless/synthetic cheapo in 270 wsm. I was so excited about getting that savage to shoot and the caliber. To my surprise, I must have got a dud because that savage averaged about 1.5-2" at 100 yards. Hardly what I consider accurate, especially for what I wanted the rifle for, 500-600 yard deer hunting. My best load was with the 150g btip, velocity was 3100 something, and I believe I was using an over stated max load with IMR-4350 from the nosler manual. Best group out of that gun was 1.25" 3 shots at 100 yards with that combo. I tried so many differnt bullets from 130-140-150, with different powders, different primers, different OAL's. Damn thing just would not shoot. I also threw away all my loads and notes when i sold the gun, but for some reason that load sticks in my head. I know it probly dont help you much, but I did love the caliber and velocites it gave me. I was getting 3400 with 130's, 3250 with 140's and 3100 with 150's. I just wished I would got .5-.75" accuracy out of it.

Those are some smokin velocities though!

Here are my loads:

1) 160PT - 59gn H4831SC, Fed 215M, OAL 2.875",
velocity @ sea level 2750, accuracy @100yds - .5 MOA

2) 150PTG - Same as loading as 160PT, do not know velocity, .75 MOA
@ 100yds

3) 140AB - 61.5gn of RL19, Fed 215M, OAL - 2.875", no velocity info, .75 MOA @ 100 yds

I hope this helps. I'm also assuming that velocities will increase as you gain altitude.
