I have 270Wby and on Rem action with Rock Creek 26" barrel. I've had good luck with 150gr ABLR,IMR-7828. I've got couple boxes 165gr ABLR and need some loading data using IMR-7828, maybe QL.

Thanks

Unfortunately, my data set doesn't include the 165 grain ABLR. This should be included in the next update, I should imagine. The projection does allow data for the 150 grain ABLR, however. This would allow you to check the data you've already generated against the QL projection.

Code:
Cartridge : .270 Weath. Mag.
Bullet : .277, 150, Nosler Accubond LR 58836 G7
Useable Case Capaci: 72.698 grain H2O = 4.720 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.295 inch = 83.69 mm
Barrel Length : 26.0 inch = 660.4 mm
Powder : IMR 7828

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 1.0% of nominal charge.
CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !

Results caused by ± 10% powder lot-to-lot burning rate variation using nominal charge
Data for burning rate increased by 10% relative to nominal value:

Also you can start at the minimum with the 150 ablr substitute the 165 and press on

Nosler combines data for the 160 gr PT and 165 gr ABLR for the 27 Nosler so you might be able to do the same. Start low of course and work up.

If you don't have at least a 8.5 twist or faster your spinning your wheels
