Well guys, thank you! I have to say, the RL17 TTSX was one of the easiest load work ups I have done. First loads with SD in the 2-3 fps range…
Started with Barnes book for seating depth.
Didn’t have the modified case to check lands, but after getting that.. went on to using Barnes recommended minimum jump and went up from there.
I tried seating at 050, 060, and 070, and it liked the 050 the best. Have 68 more of these blue cyclones (TTSX) and two pounds of RL17…
Here’s the picture for 0.050 jump was 0.058”
0.060 was a 1” group
0.070 was a 3” group.
I’m not seeing through the scope so good, so the groups could be better as I’m not getting a clear adjustment on the diaoptic adjustment. Will have someone with younger eyes see if it’s just me, or if they can’t see clearly either…
