Yeah I haver QL was hoping for something more tried and true but I will manage, problem with 28 Nosler is it gets so hot so quick and makes working up loads take forever. Three shots then it has to cool back to norm. Also seems like after 20 rounds it has to be cleaned, builds carbon that has to be removed for accuracy to continue. 28 Nosler seems like it is a fickle lil shit.It would be nice if CEB would do what Hammer does , an open source load manual.
They have a form on their site to request load data , which is QL.
Make yourself a barrel cooler. I made 1 from a six pack cooler. Drilled 2 holes in it coiled some cooper tubing in it sealed the holes with silicone and fill it with ice. I use a portable air pump from a air mattress. And 2 pieces of clear vinyl tubing. 1 from the pump to the lower end of the copper tubing and 1 from the top of the tubing into the chamber. If i remember right it cost about $10 dollars plus the pump. If i see water building up in the tube to the chamber i pull it off and drain the water. Works great on hot days.Yeah I haver QL was hoping for something more tried and true but I will manage, problem with 28 Nosler is it gets so hot so quick and makes working up loads take forever.
