Jim,
I'm going Nosler and I'm torn between the 140 gr AccuBond's velocity and the 160 gr Accubonds penetration. I used the 160s in the 280 with a load from Nosler manual 1 that gives 2950 fps with the 160 gr with IMR 7828. I'm pretty excited about it. I did sell the 338 RUM to help finance the re-chamber. I found I was using the 375 RUM for elk because it weighs 7.5 lbs with scope and sling so it's more fun to carry. I went to the XCR stock which is a lot lighter than the LSS stock.
Any hints or suggestions you have will be appreciated.

The 150 gr ABLR is ideal in the 280AI for just about anything you would hunt. I am getting 3100 fps.

If I can find some I'll try them. I like the ABLRs in my 7 Ultra. Very accurate and they hang on to energy like crazy.
