I picked up a shilen #5 contour .284 1-8 twist that will finish at 26”. It will be chambered in 280 rem. I debated the ackley improved but have way to many 280 rem components to switch up things now. I have various bullets weights from 120 to 180 in the .284 but was hoping for that 150 lrab to be a winner. Plenty of powder 4350 both imr and hodgdon. Same with 4831. V560 and 565. Some rl 19 and very little 22. Does anyone have some information to start with?

Being a lefty has some issues and when I found a mark v deluxe in 340 lh at a really good price I grabbed it. Has anyone tried the 225 e tips in round? Have h1000, 7828, retumbo , rl 25 8133. I would like any info on 225 partitions as well. Thanks for your help.

The 280 Rem is not much different than the AI version when they are at equal pressures so you aren't missing out on much. Sounds like a nice build.
For the 340 Wby this might be of interest.
