Well with the 25-06 cleaned today, I started thinking about bullets. I would like to use Accubonds for deer. My question is what other bullet would you use as a range bullet for this rilfe?

100 Sierra Matchking

I would go Custom Competitions, but no love from Nosler.

100 Hornady Interlock

Speer Deep Curl 120 gr, Speer Hot Cor 120gr or the Hornady 117 gr BTSP, all should be inexpensive and great deer bullets in their own right.

I tend toward Speers when I want to use something less expensive than Noslers, mostly because I have a ton of family in the Lewiston/Clarkston area, where Speer bullets are made. Plus I managed to pick up a bunch of factory blems when I was up that way when I was in my early 20s. BUT, to better match the trajectory of the bullets you want to hunt with, you probably might want to find something reasonably close in BC.

Hornady 117 grain BTSP....nothing shot better in my 25-06, nothing even came close...I hunted with them too (factory loads)

They work very well as do the 117 Hornady BT's. One tough bullet there!

I am with you Kurt. I like Speer bullets. I really like their newest DC line of bullets as well. They are tough, usually pretty accurate and very inexpensive sometimes.

They have a pretty sleek 120 I wanna try out of the 25-06..
