300 grain Partitions for 45-70 in Short Supply!

I called Cabela's.....NADA. I called Sportsman's Warehouse.....NADA. There was only one little local GS that had ANY 300 grain Partition flat-points workable for the 45-70.

Nosler, have you stopped making these? Will you come up with something else for 45-70? I just really need some hard-hitting bullets for my 45-70, and Partitions are my favorites!!!

This sort of thing happens frequently. Good old supply and demand. Right about hunting season the good hunting bullets are snapped up like crazy while hunters build hunting ammo. In about six months when the rifle competition season gets rolling hot again, match bullets are likely to be scarce.

I try to stock up well ahead of time, so I know I've got the bullets, primers and powder I want. Also, gets me out shooting all year 'round.

If you can't get them from Midway, you might try Grafs
