Had a chance to sneak out for about an hour, had an old style nozzle in a propane tank that I couldn't get off and needed some holes in it to dispose of it. Short range trip, but it's good to see the .300 still shoots those 215's nice and tight at distance. First round hit and about a 4-5" group at 810 yards. Touch low but it'd put back straps in the freezer.

Very nice Brian! Now that is the way to do it! Very impressive!

Did the Berger's put a good hole in the back of the steel coming out?

That is one awesome shooting buddy! Everytime I think I'd like another 300 mag, I always think about yours and Elkmans.. They get it done, year after year!

Thanks Scotty! I think I'll keep this rifle a .300 win mag for life, but I've got a 7mm itch and am already pondering a .284 Win...need to get those 210 ABLR's loaded up and give them a try!

Here's a pic of the exits, looks like two exited in the same spot to me.

Cross section of a 210 VLD and 215 Hybrid, 210 is on the left. Pretty big nose cavity on the 215, I was surprised how big it was.

I can't imagine any big bull will stand too many of those. That is alot of mass right there!

Great pictures.

I do hope you pursue a 7mm.. That little 284 is a sweetheart..
