i am shooting a 300 magnum and the bullets that i am using for it right now are nosler combined technology and they are 180 grains. i checked with nosler and they said with that bullet and with imr 4350 to use 70 grains and it will go 3130 fps. i am wondering if that is to much powder and if it will hurt my gun.

Nosler lists 70 grains as a Maximum Load, with a starting load of 66 grains. As always, you should start low, and work up, checking for pressure signs along the way. Only you can be the Judge of when it's time to stop in your rifle, and if necessary, pull bullets.
