300 RUM 245gr Berger EOL Elite Hunter

Does anyone have any load data for a 300 RUM using the Berger 245gr EOL. COL of 3.75 H2O of 113.1 gr. Average temp 50° altitude 8000ft.

does Berger have any data for it in their manual? The 230 Berger was as heavy as I’ve used in my 300 RUM.

No there manual only goes up to the 230gr. I would assume that to be due to the fact that the 245gr bullet is too long to fit in the factory col.

US-869, H1000 or N570 are the powders I have.

US-869 is the one that my rifle seems to prefer though.

I ran the numbers through QL without changing anything. From my experience, you'll likely be a 100 FPS above these numbers while staying within the 65K PSI range. I would have to mess with the Ba of the RUM to get the numbers to jive. Anyhow, I hope this gives you a place to start. Scotty
