300 rum and etip

so I was playing with ballistic charts and this and that and I am thinking about trying them in my ultramag

to those who have tried them the etips in the ultramag what weight has performed the best for you

I know 180s are pretty much the standard as 165s can be a little difficult to get to group and 200s seem to almost always perform

The 308 cal E-Tips are available in 150 gr, 168 gr and 180 gr weights.
I would take a look at the 168 gr E-Tip. :wink:
FWIW, my buddy loaded some up in his 30-06AI and he and his son each took a cow elk with them last fall. Accuracy is .5 MOA and on game performance is flawless with lots of penetration.

I'd say the 180ET to start with then 168ET if the 180s don't shoot for you.
