300 WBY Load?

I fired his gun and it does have a bit of jump for sure. A 165 gr bullet like the AccuBond would kick less and work well on deer. If you want to reduce the recoil even more a faster burning powder like in the IMR 4350 and H 4350 would work well and you really wouldn't lose much performance to notice even at longer range. Your shoulder would notice the difference.

Thanks gerry, yep mine has a bunch of mountain rash as well I get good groups with Corlokts 180 I would like to try AccuBond 165 ir Silvertip 165 or Etip 168 for flatter trajectory and less were and tear on My shoulder I had a rotator surgery on have a 270 a 243 but I really love my "Bee"

I have some of the 168 ET's loaded up right now with 7828. Should be able to get an accuracy and velocity measurement soon. I am working primarily with the 200 PT, but since I had some 168 ET's, I decided to try them and see how they shot. They aren't looking horrible. My only problem is they seem to be seated so short I am about to pass the ogive with the neck if I go too much shorter.

With 83 grains of 7828, there was a noticeable difference in recoil between the 168's and 200's. Neither were horrible at all, but there was a difference.

Fotis, did you try and shoot them longer at all? Just wondering how you came to the short length? It obviously shoots very well there, but I was just wondering if they shot like crap out at max mag length or you've done enough with the AB's to know they wanted to be seated deeply in the Weatherby.
