I am currently using RL-22, Federal 215M primer and 180 AB's. It is working OK but I am looking to squeak all the accuracy I can out of this rifle.
Does anyone have any proven "go to" loads for the 300 wm?

You have the right combo, 75.0 grs RL 22.
Play with the COL to get it where you want to be.

Copy that JD, I have moved it back from the lands in .002 increments to .04 off the lands. 73.6 grains and .018 off the lands work the best so far, 3/4" group but looking for a little better. CW
Have you tried H1000 or H4831?

I have not givin RL-22 a go yet in the 300 mag. Did try IMR-4831 and H-4831 with the 180 AB. The H load was wicked accurate while the IMR was so so at one inch. I,m at .015 off the lands using rem brass and cci 250 primers. My 700 BDL seems to be a H-4831 lover.

I would push them a little harder and see what happens also. 75gr should be around 2950 or so outta most 300's. You might sink them a little tighter if you run them near peak psi. Scotty

You're spot on about the projected speed of 75 grains re22....at least in my gun. This load did 2960fps in my 25" tikka. Being a 7#2oz gun with scope it does kick pretty hard but accuracy and further fine tuning of the load would most likely be hard to beat.

I've found that pushing r22 harder usually tightens groups.
I'm getting 3120fps with 77grs out of a 26" M70

Same here. RL22 is king in the 300WM in my eyes. With a 180 a 3050 and a 200 at 2900 or so, and man, you have a sure thing for just about anything that walks. Scotty

My rifle shoots 72 gr/IMR 4350 w/ any 180 grain bullet I've tried (including the AB) better than anythjing else, including RL22. I use WW brass, Fed 215Ms. I wish (only a little bit, though) it liked H4350 as much, but it came in with the rest of the pack (incl RL22). This load w/ 180 Nosler Partitions clocks at 3012 fps (didn't clock it w/ ABs, but expect it's slightly slower w/ them), is near max so work up.

I am with GF1, I use exactly the same load. have some 3 shot groups at about .280 or so. !!!

I have added a clarification, my like "H-4350"
