Good to hear.
Try 75.0 grs RL22 with a 180 gr.

JD338

havent tried the 180 and the rl22 yet
need to hit bass pro and pick up more powder n noslers in both 165 and 180 .. might even play with some 150s :)

I was fixin to load up some imr4831 in the 180gn and looked on the nosler page and on it it shows 69 to 73 gn
but lookin at the data posted above shows 68.5gn in the danger zone
Just trying to make sure I dont screw up
thanks

Butch, 300 Win Mag cases are all over the map for capacity. Norma is on the high end for capacity while thick RWS or even Remington could have several grains less capacity than Norma or Winchester. I'd start low and let your chronograph be your guide. The speeds/PSI's listed on QL are legit but the actual case capacity, burn rate of your powder and a few other things will dictate the actual charge. Good luck.

I'm shooting winchester brass
surly noslers published data of a start load should be ok then wouldn't you think ?
Or should I back off 1gn from that ?

I'd start at Noslers start in WW brass with no hesitation. WW is fairly spacious brass.

I couldn't find any 165 gn in the AB or BT .. so I grabbed the sierra gameking hpbt in 165 ..
I'm thinking the imr4831 or the rl22

Here are what they look like..

Thank you sir
with out the polymer tip I can touch the L&G now and stay in the mag length ... I starting out at .015 off and work a ladder

Cut a .516 group today with 74gn imr4831
one thing also helped was without the polymer tip I can load touching the L&G. . I'm not I'm .015 off L&G
where the mag limited me to .051 with the BT
thanks so much for the help yall

Bad news is the chrono speed on the 165gn sierra gameking is only 3070fps with the 4831 ..
good news is the rl25 and the 180 ballistic tip shot a .7 group at 3050fps ... the 165 AccuBond with the rl22 shot 3290 fps ... I have a ladder loaded with the 165 sierra gameking hpbt and rl22 and see if the speed will pick up some ..
thanks again yall for all the help
