I have shot some 130g hornady loads from Hodgdon website. I wound up with their max load of h414. I had a bunch of surplus powder. They shot really well but at the velocity I really didn't want to shoot anything but paper with it. I was getting sub 0.5 groups consistantly

We have shot deer with the 130 Hornady. Believe me it is a varmint bullet!!!!!

What about the 125gr Sierra Pro Hunter would that be a better bullet or is it about the same? The reason for wanting to shoot lighter bullets is that I have a Winchester in a Coyote Lite and it shoots 125 TNT's under 1/2". I am trying to find a load close to it for longer shots. I just started working on some 165gr Partitions and 150gr bullets in Accubonds, Hornady Interbonds and SST's for this rifle, I have them loaded but have not gotten to shoot them yet. My other model 70 300WSM really likes the Interbonds and the SST's but the Coyote does not. Ideally I would like to shoot the 165gr Accubonds or Interbonds for my deer load if I can find the right combo for this rifle but I am going to use whatever shoots the best. As of right now the lighter bullets are better even though the 150 Ballistic Tips shoots pretty good. I would rather shoot the 150gr or 165gr in a tougher bullet. I am not a big fan of the BT's for deer I have had a couple bad experiences with them.

If your gun likes the sierra it probably likes a very thin jacket. This means you probably won't get good performance out of a PT. I would try the 165g Nos BT. You might also try the 180 gr sierra pro-hunter.
