Inherited about 50 of these 3006 LC 62 match cases from the wifes grand father. Upon sizing cleaning and teimming these cases I found they are very hard to work with. But appear to be good cases. Military I am guessing with neck thicknesses varying from .014 - .013 all within .001 from place to place and case to case. Has anyone used any of these cases and with what kind of results. Are these cases normally tougher to size and trim?

Yup. They are thicker brass so stay afar from max loads. Also should have crimped primer pockets. If you have a neck turner shave the necks to equal thickness.

Non of the primers were crimped. I loaded 3 rounds w/ 62 gr of rl22 and 165 abs all loades to max oal. Hopefully I can get out and shoot them. Plus I have been working my load lengths for my normal rounds. Not sure if I am gonna use much of these cases at this time. Might save them for an emergency or rainy day.

Its not particularly good brass to be honest with you. The Garand guys usually leave LC brass, its not nearly as good as HXP.
