Hit the range yesterday. early,no wind. working up a load for the 180 tip/AccuBond. 3 shot groups... 74 RL22 yielded 3029 fps avg. little SD. .8" 3 shots. 75 RL22 avg. 3086, .6". my try 76 RL22 to see results. H1000 @ 79 grs. yielded 1.22" higher SD. press. nearing max surprisingly. WW cases,CCI250 primer. 24" factory Sako AV w/ brake. (bought it that way). the RL22 yielded 1.5" + groups w/ 165 tips. the lighter bullets seem to prefer H4350 btw. reach hi press. though before achieving desired vel. TBC......

Sounds like your doing well and meeting your target pretty easily. With 74 and 75 grains of RL22 working like that, you'll be done with load work before you get started. Great day, post up some pictures.

3000+ fps with excellent accuracy, and a great bullet like the 180 gr AccuBond...

You've got a winner on your hands.

My Ruger M77 300 winnie likes 75.0 grn RL 22 for the 180's. I switched to 200 grn partitions however, and am using 70.5 grns H4831sc.

Not sure you're going to trump the 74 or 75 grain loads. Less than MOA, over 3K and a 180 AccuBond. I think you found a couple of winners.

Agree. I'd pick one, load up a mess of ammo, practice at the range and go hunting...

Is that kind of like "keep fixing it until it's broke"

Try another primer. I have been getting erratic results with the CCI250 with a couple powders.

Depends on the powder, Which primer to Pick? What ever LRM you have. I know guys that like WLR for 4350 in the 300win mag.
